A former care home close to Great Yarmouth seafront exceeded its guide price when it sold at auction.
Alexandra House on Euston Road went under the hammer with Auction House East Anglia.
The property was listed with a guide price of £375,000 and sold for a reported £427,000.
The property, which used to be a residential home before closing in 2018 following a damning report, contains 17 bedrooms split over four floors and there is plenty of parking available.
The building had also been previously used as a hotel and flats.
Earlier this year, the previous owners of the building submitted plans to convert the property into a nine-bedroom home complete with a gym, library and home cinema. These plans have since been withdrawn.
Built in 1899, there is a range of period features including original mosaic flooring, stained glass windows, an arts and crafts staircase, original architraves and a marble fireplace.
