A busy town road will be closed for a number of days this month to allow for the removal of works needed for the construction of the new bridge.
The closures will commence in two phases, the first of which begins on Tuesday, May 23 at 8pm until 6am on Thursday, May 25.
The closures will then recommence at 8pm on Tuesday, May 30 until 6am on Thursday, June 1.
Bus services will be unable to travel down Southtown Road on these days and will be diverted via Pasteur Road and William Adams Way.

Drivers are warned delays are "likely" and are advised to plan alternative routes ahead of time.
The closures come as work on the new Third River Crossing nears completion, which is hoped will ease traffic congestion on the town’s roads and shorten journey times by connecting the A47 to the port.
Work on the new bridge began in January 2021 and Norfolk County Council aims to have the bridge operational and open to traffic this summer.
