Ongoing developments across the Great Yarmouth area have been captured from the air.

Pilot photographer Mike Page took to the skies on Friday and shared some images which show changes at the town's third river crossing and harbour, as well as beachgoers in Winterton.

Third river crossing

Starting construction in January 2021, the Herring Bridge is nearing completion.

On the Yarmouth side of the crossing, pavements have been laid along the bridge, and stop lights and a bridge barrier have been installed.

By William Adams Way, work has started on the western approach embankment and its connecting roundabout.

The bridge's opening date has yet to be released.

Offshore Energy Campus

As a few people soaked up the sun on Gorleston beach, areas around Yarmouth's South Denes appear to be cleared for the ongoing construction of the new £21.4m offshore energy campus.

The construction will see 190m of river quay refurbished and upgraded.

Winterton

The village was busy with sunbathers, swimmers and dog walkers. A stretch of road which suddenly ends at the side of the cliff is a reminder of the ongoing erosion seen in the village and the neighbouring Hemsby.
