A mystery woman from Great Yarmouth couldn’t believe her luck after winning an £82,000 jackpot at a seafront casino.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, was visiting Grosvenor Casino Great Yarmouth with her neighbour on their weekly night out when she decided to play three-card poker.  

Within minutes the lucky winner laid down a royal flush to land the jackpot and win the huge jackpot prize.

Speaking after her win, the mystery woman, said: "When I laid down my cards, I couldn’t believe that I’d won and was in complete shock.

"I've visited the casino for a long time and enjoyed a few wins over the years, but I've never won anything quite this big before."

Gemma Aylen, general manager at Grosvenor Casino Great Yarmouth, said: "A massive congratulations to our lucky winner from everyone here at Grosvenor Casinos.

"It's great to see a familiar face at the casino win big and I couldn't think of a more deserving person." 

She now plans to treat her close friends and family including paying to furnish her daughter’s new apartment.
