A busy town road will face four weekends of road closures from the end of the month.
In order to replace the worn-out road surface with new asphalt, High Road in Gorleston will be closed between its junction with Beccles Road and just past its junction with Addison Road.
The work, costing £122,000, is expected to take four days to complete and to "minimise disruption to local transport services" it will be carried out over four consecutive Sundays.

On October 29, November 5, November 12 and November 19, resurfacing will be undertaken from 7.30am to 7pm, with signed diversion routes in place.
Homes nearby will be contacted by the contractor if parked cars need to be moved in advance for each stage but access will be maintained throughout.
