A theatre on the coast is set for a new act as a colony of bees steals the spotlight and aims to create a buzz.
Gorleston's Pavilion Theatre has collaborated with Gorleston Apiary - a team of local beekeepers - to install a beehive on its rooftop.
The initiative plans to establish an ecosystem on top of the theatre, emphasizing the ecological significance of bees.
The hive, which should start producing honey from next year, was designed in collaboration with the Reprezent Project.

St George's Primary School in Great Yarmouth also contributed to the initiative, with pupils applying their creativity to the beehive.
The theatre has installed a webcam on the roof so that people can log on to monitor the activity of the bees.
Gorleston Apiary was set up after grandfather and grandson Peter and Jamie McBride decided to take up beekeeping in late 2021.
Jamie said the rooftop apiary is "not just about honey".
"It's about fostering a future where the sweet taste of success is shared by all, creating a legacy of community, sustainability, and artistic expression that will endure for generations to come," he said.

Gorleston Apiary is now seeking support from local businesses for the project. Sponsorships for hives and beekeeping suits are requested to expand educational outreach and facilities.
Local businesses interested in supporting the project are encouraged to contact Gorleston Apiary directly.
Mr McBride said: "By sponsoring a hive, businesses have the opportunity to directly contribute to the community's understanding of bees, sustainability, and environmental responsibility."
The theatre, meanwhile, is preparing for a new show which begins on Friday, December 1.
'Encore' will feature drag stars Lula Belle, Betty Tucks and Chelsie Bunz and is promising singing, dancing, comedy and variety.
