After 25 years of gathering at Cliff Park Primary school, the Cliff Park Community Church is relocating to a neighbouring academy.
During the final service at the Orde Avenue site on Sunday, the congregation recalled their inaugural meeting in December 1999, when they were introduced as 'a new church for a new millennium'.
The community church was established by St. Andrew's Parish Church and Gorleston Baptist.
Both congregations had individually expressed interest in expanding their ministry in South Gorleston.

A trial run service on Easter Sunday 1998 was conducted by the Baptists.
"By then we had been joined by St.Andrew’s, who unbeknown to us, also had ideas about planting a church," said Tony Mallion, one of the founders.
"We readily agreed to work together."
Fifteen people from each church formed the core team. It was led by St Andrew’s associate minister Paddy McGlinchey and baptist minister the late Richard Hughes.
Over the years, the church was joined by well-known Christians such as celebrity dietician Rosemary Conley and actor Graham Cole, to share their faith.
Family Days were hosted on the school field and annual carol services were held at the Gorleston Pavilion theatre.
Minister of the Cliff Park Church, Rev Derek McClean, said: "Whilst it is with some sadness that we leave our home of 25 years at Cliff Park Primary Academy, we are very much looking forward to a new and exciting chapter in the life of our Community.
"We are delighted with how much Cliff Park Academy have been helping us with the transition to our new home, and the facilities which they are offering us.

"This is a great opportunity, and we look forward to welcoming people to worship with us.
"We are deeply grateful to God for all his faithfulness and provision both over the years, and now."
The first meeting at Cliff Park Academy will take place at 10.30am on February 11.
