An area of land "in a delightful setting" is set to be auctioned off next month.
The plot of "amenity land" adjoining and backing onto farmland is due to go under the hammer at an auction on May 1.
It is described as a "0.26 acre parcel of amenity land with potential" on land adjacent to White House Farm on Back Lane, Burgh Castle in Great Yarmouth.
Marketed by Auction House East Anglia, the land is due to be sold at an online auction on Wednesday, May 1, with a guide price of £20,000 to £40,000 plus fees.
With the land being offered for sale on a freehold tenure, the property description from the auctioneers states: "This plot of amenity land which extends to approximately 0.26 acres is situated in a delightful setting adjoining and backing onto farmland.
"The plot which has frontage of 31.4m onto Back Lane is currently overgrown but could offer potential for a range of alternative uses (subject to planning).
"There is also a run-down timber workshop on site and the plot would need attention prior to use."
With the plot of land described as being "slightly broader" to the front than at the back, it lays to the west of White House Farm.
The property description from the auctioneers adds: "There is currently no access onto the site however it previously had a gated access."
Burgh Castle is situated within the Norfolk Broads National Park and is less than four miles away from Gorleston and Great Yarmouth.
The auctioneers said that interested parties "are requested to make their own enquiries to the relevant authorities as to the availability of services."
