A car boot sale that was allowed to run for a trial period has been permitted to open permanently.
Last May, Great Yarmouth Borough Council allowed Stephen Jones, of Mill Farm House on Hemsby Road in Winterton, to open a dog exercise facility and car boot sale on Mondays for a period of 18 months.
This was to assess any impacts on road safety following concerns from Norfolk Highways about the intensity of use of the site, mud on the road and the possibility of accidents.
Now planners have approved Mr Jones' bid to hold the sale once a week on Sundays, from 6am to 3.30pm, for no more than 28 days a year.

The new plans also include car parking for visitors to the car boot to be provided at the existing dog walking facility which will be closed during the sale.
There will be 125 spaces for cars.
Mr Jones and his wife Max opened a dog exercise park, Winterton Hound Ground, in July last year.
They have lived in Winterton for 24 years and had the property for 22 of those.
