Trainee teacher completed a marathon, raising funds for a charity supporting disadvantaged youth.
Mollie Nichols, a trainee teacher from Norfolk, has successfully run the London Marathon and raised close to £2,000 for the charity Phab, which aids disabled and disadvantaged young people.
Ms Nichols completed the marathon in 5 hours and 47 minutes.
The funds she raised will be channelled towards the charity and its initiatives, aligning with her role as a training teacher.
Ms Nichols is currently completing her PGCE with The OAKS Norfolk, delivered by Ormiston Academies Trust and Ormiston Venture Academy.
Ormiston recently introduced the Ormiston Teacher Training programme, set to deliver innovative training to aspiring teachers across Norfolk from September 2024.
Fellow Norfolk residents with a passion for igniting young minds are encouraged to sign up, with incentives provided for referring prospective teachers seeking to make a societal impact.
Ms Nichols returned to school immediately after her marathon triumph, persisting in her efforts to raise money for the cause.
Phab's charity work includes reconciling disabled and non-disabled individuals of all ages through exciting holiday projects.
