A new year-round bus line linking the city with coastal villages is coming to Norfolk.

The Coastalkonect 717 service will bring people from city streets to sandy seats from Saturday, June 29.

A new service, which runs from Norwich to Hemsby, will be available twice a day in each direction on Saturdays year-round.

The line - which also calls at Wroxham, Horning, Ludham, Potter Heigham and Martham - will be bolstered with an additional twice-daily service on Wednesdays over the summer holidays.

The 717 costs £2 one-way, but family tickets covering two adults and three children are available for £11.30.  Concessionary passes are also valid on this route.

Tickets are available on the Konectbus app or from the driver with cash or contactless payment.
