New play and exercise equipment is to be installed across Great Yarmouth.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council has announced a flurry of improvement works, making the area child-friendlier and more inclusive.
Funded by property developers' Section 106 payments and council capital funding, the upgrades are due for completion in September.
Renovation experts Sutcliffe Play Ltd, Wicksteed, Playdale, and The Great Outdoor Gym Company are working on the project.

They will renovate popular community spots like Pier Plain Play Area, Magdalen Square and Lichfield Road Play Areas, and Marine Parade Play Area on Gorleston Cliffs.
Blackfriars Road Play Area, adjacent to Time and Tide Museum, will reopen in late July.
It is currently under renovation due to unsuitable old equipment.
Gorleston Cliffs' Mia-Lucy Rose Trim Trail is also receiving refurbishments.
The memorial trim trail was originally installed to commemorate the town’s Mia-Lucy Rose who died in a tragic river accident in Southeast Asia in 2004.
The fitness trail will see new installations and pathways.
Additional new inclusive and infant play equipment are being added to Beaconsfield Road Play Area.
The Adizone Area Mill Lane Recreation Ground in Bradwell, installed as a tribute to the 2012 London Olympics, is also gearing up for significant fitness area refurbishments.
The Great Outdoor Gym Company, nominated for The Earthshot Prize 2024, will be making the Bradwell improvements, consciously using locally sourced materials to minimize environmental impact.

Councillor Graham Plant, Great Yarmouth Borough Council's portfolio holder for operational property and asset management, said: ‘’We know how valuable and well used these facilities are and this programme of work will make a meaningful difference to our communities across the borough.
"We always look to upgrade play areas with new equipment when we can, and we know this significant investment with some imaginative and creative new additions will mean a lot to our residents.
“Hopefully any inconvenience caused while these important improvements are being carried out will be minimal and we look forward to all the new equipment being available to use as soon as possible.”
