The event saw many dressed their best, with many entering the Style Awards for the chance to win £500 before the afterparty withRacecourse general manager Tom Pennington said the event had a "superb buzz" as people made the most of the improved weather.
"I thoroughly enjoyed heading up my first Ladies Night," said Mr Pennington.
"The atmosphere was incredible, and the evening went without a hitch. That’s a testament to the wonderful team we have in place at the racecourse.
"Vernon Kay is a natural-born entertainer and a complete gentleman. He was fantastic at engaging with the crowd, who all seemed to immerse themselves in the tunes he was playing. He came and ate in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed his Yarmouth experience."
There were seven races between 5pm and just after 8pm for the Ladies Evening meeting, and the going was good.
The popular Fashion Awards will be up and running again on the third and final day of the Racecourse's Eastern Festival on September 19.
Mr Pennington advised people bought tickets early as the festival - and the Racecourse's Family Fun Day on August bank holiday Sunday - is close to selling out.
