A man has died after falling into the River Bure.
The man in his 50s fell into the river near North River Road in Great Yarmouth at around 9.10pm yesterday.
The man was reportedly attempting to board a rented boat when he entered the river.
He was recovered from the water but despite the efforts of emergency services at the scene he was pronounced dead a short time later.
While the death is being treated as unexplained, it is not believed to be suspicious.
The man's family has been informed.

His death is the latest in a spate of water-related deaths across the county.
Yesterday, a man in his 30s died after entering the River Wensum in Norwich at 2.30am.
After failing to resurface, his body was found later that morning.
On Saturday afternoon, a swimmer in his 70s died after getting into difficulties in the sea at Brancaster Beach.
The man was seen going into the sea but did not return, and following a search operation, his body was found in the water around two hours later.
The previous day, shortly before midnight on Friday, a man in his 20s died after going for a late-night swim on Wroxham Broad.
The deaths have prompted warnings, with organisations such as Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service issuing water safety guidance.
A post issued on Facebook advised people heading to the Broads to stay safe by, "wearing a lifejacket, being aware of how to 'float to live', not drinking or taking drugs and looking out for throwlines and life rings".
They added that danger can remain hidden under the surface of the water in the form of reeds or sudden deep water, and that cold water shock could kill.
