One of Norfolk's best-loved summertime events is returning for its 37th year.
From 9.30am on Sunday, August 25, the East Coast Truckers Children's Charity will be setting off on its annual convoy.
Some 90 trucks will travel from Postwick Park and Ride in Norwich, along Thorpe Road and the A47 to Great Yarmouth, then Gorleston, before stopping at Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft at approximately 12pm.
After spending the afternoon at the theme park, the truckers will head back to Norwich via Great Yarmouth seafront, each chauffering a disabled or disadvantaged child to sit up high in the cab.

They will be travelling along Marine Parade at approximately 6pm.
The police will escort the convoy along the route, allowing them to travel through red lights, roundabouts and junctions.
Teams from the emergency services will also be part of the convoy onboard two coaches.
Supporters are expected to be out in droves along the route, clapping and waving at the children and the truckers.
