Part of the A47 was left gridlocked after an incident blocked one of the road's busiest roundabouts at Great Yarmouth.
Traffic was at a standstill in both directions leading to the Runham roundabout after a car broke down on Wednesday afternoon.

Police were called to the scene and remained there awaiting recovery.
Drivers travelling eastbound on the Acle Straight met traffic as far back as the Halvergate turnoff.
Congestion also built in the town with motorists facing delays as far back as the Gapton roundabout.
The area has since cleared.
