A street in a Norfolk seaside village was dramatically left flooded after weather conditions caused a water main pipe to burst.
Streams of water were seen gushing down Newport Road in Hemsby after water from the shattered water pipe flooded the street.
Essex & Suffolk Water received reports of the damage on Friday afternoon.
A spokeswoman for the water management company said: “Our teams attended quickly, and isolated the burst before quickly starting a repair.
"It is believed the burst was caused by the change in weather causing ground movement.
“The repair took just over four hours to complete, and the teams handed out over 600 bottles of water to customers who had been impacted with no water due to the burst.
“The road has since reopened, but we expect some minor disruption while it is being resurfaced. No homes were flooded.

“We would like to thank customers for their patience and support while we worked at the scene.”
The police were also on the scene to ensure the safety of residents and they, along with Essex & Suffolk Water, have been thanked by members of the community.
