A community woodland has won an award just months after its creation.
The Rollesby Community Woodland, in Norfolk, bagged the 'Spaces for Nature' award at the Norfolk Biodiversity Awards 2024.
The woodland was the dream of Rollesby resident Michael Rivett, who wanted a green space for everyone to enjoy.
After a local landowner gifted a parcel of land last October, the community rallied to clear the area and plant trees and wildflowers.
The group continues to fundraise to support the woodland's upkeep and development.
