Hemsby escaped further erosion over the weekend following warnings of 'extremely high' spring tides.
The water was predicted to begin rising on Thursday, peak on Friday and stretch into Saturday.
James Bensly, who represents the area on Great Yarmouth Borough Council, said the village was "okay" - but that they lost about another foot from Hemsby Gap.
He also said a lot of material has moved from the coast to the north of the village, forming a sand bar, and that on Sunday, September 22, you could walk out, toward the shoreline, for about 50 or 60 metres.

This month, officers from the borough council have been visiting residents of houses closest to the sea on the Marrams and Fakes Road ahead of the winter.
The purpose of the visits is to establish an understanding of individual circumstances so the council is able to offer advice and appropriate support for residents.
A total of 25 homes in Hemsby have been lost over the past 11 years due to coastal erosion.
