A woman who launched a baking business at home earlier this year has opened a new village shop.
Amie Phillips, who has lived in Freethorpe for the last 25 years, started Platinum Bakes in her kitchen in April and she sells everything from brownies to cupcakes.
After gradually growing the business, she decided to open a shop in her home village where she could sell her sweet and savoury treats alongside daily essentials.
She said: "When the shop became available we were like ‘wow’, let's move down the road so we have a kitchen to store everything.
"From selling just 10 slices a day, to then selling 30 a day, to now taking over a shop has just been incredible."
Platinum Stores & Bakes at 87 The Green is open seven days a week, with a hot dessert night every Friday.
She hopes to eventually open more shops.
