A village is revisiting plans to install CCTV at a playing field following a spate of vandalism over the summer.
During a meeting of Belton with Browston Parish Council, it was reported that several trees had been damaged, with large branches broken off, at Bell Lane playing field.
Vandals also dug large holes in the field, reportedly to create ramps for bikes, and fencing slats at a neighboring property were damaged.
The council had previously explored the installation of CCTV equipment but did not proceed due to several factors.

The parish clerk was tasked with gathering information from police in Gorleston, including details about contractors they have used and the possibility of connecting the new system to the police monitoring system.
Bell Lane Playing Field has a children's playground, two hard-surfaced play areas for football and basketball and the field is used for general recreation.
In 2008, the parish council put concrete bollards at the entrances to the field after yobs went on a joyride on the grass in a stolen car.
