A children's soft play centre could open on the site of a gym that closed last year.
William Tingey of Mini Monsters Ltd, a business based in Northamptonshire, is seeking permission to open the facility across two units in Harfreys Industrial Estate on Bessemer Way in Great Yarmouth.
The premises had traded as BWell Gym since 2006 but that went into liquidation and closed in July last year with the owner blaming the arrival in the town of two national gym chains.

The new plans would see the vacant units reopen as a children's soft play centre.
Mr Tingey is applying for a certificate of lawful proposed use which means he would not require planning permission.
He said he considers the last use of the building fell under the same operating category as the proposed use for a children's soft play facility.
"The building has been previously utilised for activities that align with leisure purposes, which is consistent with the nature of a children's soft play facility," he said.
A decision on the bid, which is in the hands of planners at Great Yarmouth Borough Council, is expected by December 4.
