A police officer was rushed to hospital after suffering an injury sustained looking for a missing woman in a Norfolk town.
Officers concerned for the safety of the woman who had been reported missing located her at Britannia Pier in Great Yarmouth at around 7pm yesterday evening.

During the response, an officer injured her ankle.
The coastguard and ambulance were called to the scene and the police officer was taken to the James Paget University Hospital for treatment of a broken ankle.
